Regent Surgical in Florida is seeking a part-time PreOp/PACU RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care. Under Clinical Leadership, you will prepare patients, monitor vitals, and ensure safety from pre-op through discharge, with attention to physical, psychosocial and pain needs.

The role emphasizes clear communication with surgeons and staff, accurate documentation, and readiness of supplies and equipment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate State.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery, including airway assessment and IV needs.
• Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and families.
• Ensure surgical site prep, verify informed consent, and enforce safety protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws as needed.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to coordinate care.
• Monitor vitals and recovery after anesthesia.
• Administer pain management and document nursing care.
• Assess readiness for discharge and provide discharge instructions.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and medications are ready.
