The role requires a Juris Doctor and active Florida Bar status, with 2+ years of personal injury experience and strong writing, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Pre‑Suit Attorney in Miami, Florida. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in personal injury law, focusing on pre‑litigation work. The attorney will make critical decisions and work alongside experienced lawyers to guide clients through the legal process.

Duties

• Handle all pre‑litigation work daily
• Complete the Flip‑to‑Lit approval process
• Guide clients through the case process
• Draft and file pre‑litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation
• Manage the release approval process
• Lead a team of 6–10 Case Managers
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
• 2+ years of personal injury experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre‑litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self‑starter driven by long‑term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Education
