Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Pre-Ski School Attendant for the upcoming season to assist Supervisors in daily operations, caring for children aged 2-4, and creating fun, safe activities both indoors and outdoors on the slopes.

You will help with meals, check-in, and prepare kids for activities; training sessions before mid-December; attendance required. This seasonal role includes on-mountain housing and perks for employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months experience in related field preferred.
• CPR/First aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children's comfort, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, and dressing for outdoor weather.
• Perform light housekeeping in the pre-ski school area and help organize lunches.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage to order and serve daily lunches.
• Manage check-in/check-out procedures and assist with waivers.
• Prepare children for the day and escort them to activities.
• Handle basic RTP tasks, such as inventory checks and order closures.
• Serve as a resort ambassador with knowledge about facilities and products.
• Teach snow sports in a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Build rapport with guests and staff through care and trust.
• Adhere to resort policies and training; maintain grooming standards.

• Prepare children for the day and escort them to activities.
• Handle basic RTP functions, such as inventory checks and order closures.
• Serve as a resort ambassador, offering knowledgeable information about facilities and products.
• Teach snow sports in a safe, enjoyable environment to ensure memorable experiences.
• Build rapport with guests and staff by establishing trust and demonstrating care.
• Adhere to resort practices and policies, participate in training, and maintain professionalism through uniform and grooming standards.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• Must be willing & able to learn to ski
• At least 3 months experience in a related field
• Knowledge of safety practices, CPR/first aid certification preferred
• May require lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
