Job summary

Rothrock Civil is looking for a caring Preschool Teacher to join the Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, NJ. You’ll create a nurturing environment that supports the development of preschool children (ages 3–5) using age-appropriate curricula aligned with our YMCA values.

Responsibilities include leading lesson plans, supervising children, and building strong relationships with families. The position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000–$54,000 annually, a sign-on bonus, and various benefits including childcare and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification required.
• Experience in a daycare or early childhood setting preferred.

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a caring and dedicated Preschool Teacher with a NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification. Join our team in Perth Amboy, five miles from New York City, serving a community of 6,000+ members through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs.

Under the direction of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Teacher creates a safe, nurturing learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Using age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with our YMCA values of Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, Respect, and Faith, the Preschool Teacher fosters positive relationships, promotes inclusion, and collaborates with a Teacher Assistant and team members to ensure a high-quality early childhood program.

Essential Responsibilities
