Who will you be working with?

The Pre-Sales Technician is the primary technical resource for the sales force. They are responsible for actively driving and managing the solution evaluation stage of the sales process, working closely with the sales team to ensure project requirements align with Baxi's solutions portfolio.

On a daily basis, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Delivering detailed project requirements to enable solution designers to produce detailed designs utilizing Baxi renewables and fossil fuel technologies.
  • Building close relationships with external sales teams and their customers to understand project goals and operational needs, working from opportunities generated by the Commercial Sales Teams.
  • Ensuring customer requirements can be met by Baxi solutions, with seamless transition to detailed design in a timely manner, adhering to SLA’s and project timelines.
  • Compiling and producing Opportunity Quotation Specifications and managing the CRM system to ensure all opportunities are correctly entered and accessible for the sales team to manage through quotation stages.
  • Assisting system designers to complete detailed designs on time to meet SLA’s.
  • Generating standardized heating schematics for Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems for various stakeholders.
  • Providing detailed product lists to meet specific solutions, assisting installers/contractors with legislative compliance.
  • Supporting follow-up design services, including handover documentation and performance details related to the system design.
About you:

We want to ensure you’re set up for success. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in:

  • Building services, ideally educated to BTEC level.
  • Understanding of the HVAC industry.
  • Using Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD.
  • CRM systems experience.
  • Using M3 Business management software.
  • Knowledge of the 18th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties.
  • An understanding of renewable technologies, ASHP heating systems, and the transition from fossil fuels.
  • Knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations and F-Gas.
  • A collaborative working style, nurturing internal and external relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables.
