Job summary

DASSAULT SYSTEMES, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, seeks a DraftSight Pre-Sales Application Engineer with preference for Waltham, MA, but flexible. You will pitch, demo, and promote adoption of DraftSight desktop and cloud solutions, building deep knowledge of a CAD/PLM/CAE portfolio to help clients imagine sustainable products.

You will support Sales and Marketing campaigns in North America, participate in pre-sales activities, deliver client-facing demos and webinars, and collaborate with post-sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Biomedical) or Architecture/Construction preferred.
• 8-10 years' experience in technical sales or technical marketing in the software industry.
• 2D CAD experience is a MUST; beneficial: AutoCAD, 3D CAD, PDM, PLM solutions.
• Experience in pre-sales activities and collaborating with post-sales.
• Exceptional live and virtual presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Cultural knowledge and sensitivity; ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales and Marketing campaigns across North America.
• Lead or participate in pre-sales activities: qualification, discovery, solution engineering, demonstrations, and collaboration with post-sales teams.
• Balance multiple assignments across cross-functional teams.
• Create and deliver client-facing technical demonstrations, videos, datasets, webinars, conferences, best practices, and live streams.
• Support the NAM Sales team by pitching, demoing, and promoting DraftSight adoption.

Our DraftSight team is looking for a Pre-Sales Application Engineer. The preferred location for this position is Waltham, MA, but is flexible. The DraftSight Pre-Sales Application Engineer will support sales teams by being ready to pitch, demo, and promote adoption of our DraftSight desktop and cloud platform solutions in any medium. Leveraging your expertise in technical sales and technical marketing, you will be able to develop a deep knowledge of a vast CAD/PLM/CAE portfolio in order to help our clients imagine new products for a more sustainable world.

• Apply your immense product and industry expertise, creativity, and professional skills to support Sales and Marketing campaigns that are critical to the success of the DraftSight business in North America


• Participate in or lead pre-sales activities including but not limited to qualification, discovery, solution engineering, solution, demonstration and collaborating with post-sales services teams


• Balance multiple assignments simultaneous while working with multiple cross-functional teams.


• Create and deliver client facing technical demonstrations, demo videos, demo datasets, webinars, conference presentations, best practices, and live streams


• Support the NAM Sales team by pitching, demoing and promoting the adoption of DraftSight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Biomedical) or Architecture/Construction highly preferred


• 8-10 years' experience in technical sales or technical marketing in the software industry


• Technical Experience with 2D CAD is a MUST. One of the following will be additionally beneficial: AutoCAD, 3D CAD, PDM, PLM software solutions and portfolios


• Experience in pre-sales activities and collaborating with post-sales


• Exceptional live and virtual presentation skills

Dassault Systemes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $107000 and $148000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
