R-V Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Pre-Production to lead the front end of our project lifecycle in Honey Brook, PA.

You will own estimating, order processing, and project management, ensuring quotes are accurate, releases complete, and customer commitments met on custom engineered-to-order equipment. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on building a capable team, challenging estimates, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Strong project management background with ownership of cost, schedule, and scope.
• Experience in custom, engineered-to-order, or project-based manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Working proficiency with ERP systems in manufacturing (job costing, planning, BOMs, routings, change control).
• Strong analytical skills and Excel-based cost modeling and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers, shop floor, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across three functions; set clear expectations and accountability.
• Develop individual development plans and grow bench strength for critical roles.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching conversations.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain technical talent; partner with HR on workforce planning and compensation alignment.
• Establish standard estimating methods, labor rates, and historical cost libraries; manage quotes ownership.
• Own accuracy and timeliness of estimates for custom equipment and project work.
• Review significant quotes for scope and commercial risk; ensure proper documentation of assumptions.
