Job summary

Mercy seeks an RN in Missouri to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements include RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure and graduation from a school of nursing (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN). Certifications like BLS/ACLS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
