Qualifications

• Licensure: Maintain a current RN license in MO or compact licensure where duties are performed.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS/ALS, PALS or other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers and ensures accountability.
