Mercy in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. The role requires an active RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification, with unit-specific certifications possible.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the following certifications may be required: ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards.
