Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain professional accountability, evaluate the effectiveness of care, and coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Candidates must graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN), hold a current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure, and maintain BLS with possible department-specific certifications such as ACLS,

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, ENPC, PALS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
