Job summary

VSEEN is seeking an experienced Pre-Press Digital Operator to prepare digital files for production across digital and large-format printing. The role emphasizes meticulous file review, troubleshooting, and ensuring production-ready deliverables.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Customer Service, Pre-Press, Press, Production, and Post-Press teams to maintain accuracy, schedules, and quality. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and PDF workflows is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and pre-flight customer files for format, layout, resolution, color, fonts, and production specifications.
• Identify and resolve potential production issues before files reach press.
• Convert, optimize, scale, and prepare files for production.
• Create layouts and impositions for digital printing, including the HP Indigo 7900.
• Prepare and output files for HP Latex 395 large-format production.
• Manage client files throughout the production process.
• Activate missing fonts and troubleshoot file-related issues.
• Prepare proofs, samples, and layouts for internal and client approval.
• Troubleshoot pre-press and production issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Communicate file and production requirements clearly with Customer Service and other departments.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, specifications, layouts, and instructions.
• Assist with software updates, system troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Stay current with digital printing technology, software, equipment, and industry best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Press Digital Operator to join our growing production team. This position is responsible for reviewing, preparing, troubleshooting, and optimizing digital files for production across digital and large-format printing.

The Role

The ideal candidate has strong digital pre-press experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve file issues before they impact production. This person will work closely with Customer Service, Pre-Press, Press, Production, and Post-Press teams to ensure files are accurate, production-ready, and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
