As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth in cloud-centric environments by partnering with the sales team to position Fidelis' capabilities. Your deep technical expertise in cloud security, coupled with your strong communication and consultative skills, will enable you to understand client needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the unique value of Fidelis Security's cloud offerings.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert in client engagements, particularly focused on cloud security use cases (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and proof-of-value (POV) engagements tailored to the client’s cloud infrastructure and security priorities.
• Collaborate with prospects to understand their cloud architectures and cybersecurity challenges.
• Architect solutions that align Fidelis Security’s offerings with customers' cloud strategies, ensuring seamless integration across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify client pain points and map them to Fidelis capabilities.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and business stakeholders, articulating the value of Fidelis cloud security solutions.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and feature requests, with an emphasis on cloud capabilities.
• Provide technical expertise during RFP/RFI responses and assist in the creation of technical sales content.
• Stay abreast of cloud security trends, threats, best practices, and competitive solutions.
• Provide insights to inform Fidelis' go-to-market strategies and strengthen our leadership in cloud security
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales role within cybersecurity, with strong emphasis on cloud security.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native security technologies (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, SIEM/SOAR integrations).
• Hands-on experience with cloud architectures, threat detection, compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001), and DevSecOps principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP) are a strong plus.
