Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital seeks a Pre/Post Procedural Prep and Recovery Registered Nurse for a full-time, morning schedule in Idaho Falls, ID. The role focuses on pre- and post-procedural care for interventional radiology and cardiology patients, including sedation and recovery in the cath lab setting.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and dysrhythmia training; experience with vascular access and peri-procedural coordination is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Completion of the Basic Dysrhythmia class.

Responsibilities

• Performs intraprocedural nursing assessments and prep.
• Prepares patients for cath lab and IR procedures, IV access.
• Monitors vital signs and administers conscious sedation.
• Oversees post-procedure recovery and identifies complications.
• Provides pre-discharge education to patient and family.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
