Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Scheduler/Procedural Preparation and Recovery Registered Nurse to join our team. This role coordinates outpatient interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and non-invasive cardiac procedures, including scheduling, pre-procedural assessment, and patient education.

The RN provides peri-procedural support and recovery care in cath lab and IR, with focus on safety, documentation in Cerner, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and current certifications (BLS, ACLS) required.
• Experience in preop/PACU, cath lab or IR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient cardiology, interventional radiology and non-invasive cardiac procedures scheduling and pre-procedure education.
• Perform pre-procedure nursing assessments and establish IV access as needed.
• Monitor patient during conscious sedation and post-procedure recovery in cath lab/IR.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and communicate with physicians and staff.
