Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Scheduler/Procedural Preparation and Recovery RN to coordinate outpatient interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

You will manage scheduling, pre‑procedure assessments, IV access, conscious sedation, and post‑procedure recovery, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Completion of the Basic Dysrhythmia class.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient cardiology, interventional radiology, and non-invasive cardiac procedures scheduling.
• Review orders and ensure required documentation is obtained prior to scheduling.
• Conduct pre-procedure nursing assessments and preoperative education.
• Perform pre-procedure phone calls to assess readiness and reinforce instructions.
• Assist in IV access, EKG, and vascular access site prep.
