Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN license in good standing.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• BLS or BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-procedure coordination by scheduling invasive cardiology procedures and reviewing instructions.
• Prepare the patient for the invasive procedure by reviewing history, establishing IV access, and confirming consent.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition during pre- and post-procedure periods.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during TEEs and assist anesthesia and cardiology staff.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring and assess access sites for complications.
• Educate patients and families on discharge care, medication adherence, and warning signs.
