St. Louis Eye Surgery & Laser Center in Des Peres, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post-Op care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards and ASC policies.

The role requires RN licensure in the state of work, BLS certification, and ideally ACLS; one year of nursing experience is strongly preferred, with exposure to surgical/ASC/Pre/Post-Op/PACU/ICU/OR settings advantageous. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the work state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in surgical/ASC/Pre/Post-Op/PACU/OR settings beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates nursing care following standards and ASC policies
• Supervises and directs patient care in the Operating Room as needed
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient rights
• Coordinates care with physicians and staff for smooth operations
• Keeps accurate medical records and participates in continuing education
• Supports training of new staff and teams to maintain care quality
