Job summary

Revo Health is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care across Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II within the Surgery Center in Edina, MN. This 0.8 FTE position offers a predictable schedule, Monday through Friday, with four 8-hour shifts and a rotating day off, and no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing.
• Current licensure as a RN in MN or WI multi-state required.
• One year of nursing experience in PACU or other critical care nursing in last 5 years preferred.
• Current CPR/ACLS/PALS certification required or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, educational, and developmental dimensions of the patient from pre-op through discharge and documents findings.
• Evaluates and documents patient condition and responses to nursing/medical interventions and communicates information appropriately.
• Completes pre-operative phone calls, H&P reviews, and provides admission instructions.
• Provides high-quality preop/postop nursing care, patient education, care coordination, and collaborates with the surgical team.
• Assesses patient needs and supplies/equipment for pain management and physician preferences.
• Performs post-operative follow-up calls and provides care directions as appropriate.
• Develops individualized care plans based on assessment and standards of care.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to maximize patient outcomes and smooth perioperative flow.
