Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle within a hospital setting. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, creating individualized care plans, documenting care, and collaborating with physicians and other professionals to promote patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current GA RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; nursing experience in hospital setting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collects data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Organizes patient data into a care plan and identifies information needed to guide care decisions.
• Carries out and evaluates the plan of care to achieve patient outcomes.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff involved in patient care.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the electronic health record.
• Practices ethically and promotes diversity and inclusive care.
