Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle in a dynamic hospital setting. You will assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and document care in the electronic medical record, while coordinating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments including data on physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Organizes patient data into a plan of care and identifies needed information for care decisions.
• Delivers nursing care appropriate to disease severity and setting.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support team members.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the patient record.
• Communicates and collaborates with Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and physicians as appropriate.
