Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in the pre-op and post-op surgical setting. You will assess patients, prepare for surgery, and support recovery with wound care and discharge teaching across age groups.

Qualified candidates hold a CA RN license (ACLS/PALS within 3 months), BSN preferred, and typically bring 2+ years pre-op/post-op experience. Full-time with rotating shifts; comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

BSN preferred
Two years pre-op/post-op experience preferred
California RN license; ACLS and PALS certification within 3 months; TCAR within 12 months of hire
TCAR must be obtained by 2019-10-01 for current employees within the department

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations in the surgical environment.
Perform preoperative assessment and skin preparation; complete the surgical checklist.
Manage Phase II recovery including monitoring, wound care, and discharge teaching.
