Job summary

Qualifications

Requires California RN license.
Current American Heart Association BCLS certification.
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
Basic Arrhythmia Course Certificate completed.
Prefer one year experience in acute care or perioperative nursing.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients in the preoperative setting.
Perform patient assessment and prepare patients for surgery.
Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia providers.
Ensure safe, efficient patient flow and verify procedures and consent.
Monitor labs and initiate preoperative testing as needed.
