ReCenter Hospital seeks an experienced Pre/Post-operative RN to manage patient admissions, pre-op care, and post-op stabilization for home or inpatient return. You will coordinate labs, educate patients, and ensure comprehensive discharge planning.

The role emphasizes thorough assessments, collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams, and adherence to protocols while providing compassionate care in a fast-paced PACU setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in perioperative or PACU nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic preoperative care and education.
• Coordinate preoperative labs and document results.
• Provide postoperative care and discharge preparation.
• Monitor patient status and report to anesthesiologist/surgeon.
• Document care accurately in medical records.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and on-call duties.
