Bayway Auto Group is seeking a Pre Owned Car Sales Associate in Houston, TX. This full-time, exempt role focuses on connecting customers with the right pre-owned vehicles through a consultative sales process.

Responsibilities include needs assessment, model demonstrations, financing discussions, and close coordination with finance and service departments. Competitive commission-based pay and benefits are offered, with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably automotive.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with CRM software and dealership management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership or contact us through various channels.
• Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand customer preferences, budget, and intended vehicle use.
• Present and demonstrate new car models, highlighting features, benefits, and financing options tailored to each customer.
• Negotiate sales terms and prices while maintaining dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with finance, insurance, and service departments to facilitate smooth transaction processing and vehicle delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, inventory, and industry trends to provide accurate information.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to nurture relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Document all sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the dealership’s CRM system.
