Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The RN will apply the nursing process, deliver patient care in the preoperative setting, and make clinical judgments with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the preoperative setting following nursing process and professional standards
• Make clinical judgments and coordinate patient care with supervision as required
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care during the preoperative phase
• Assist other staff in managing the preoperative patient

The Preoperative Registered Nurse works as a professional practitioner employed by Amergis Healthcare Staffing and assumes the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the preoperative setting. The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.

The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards. The Preoperative Registered Nurse is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of the preoperative patient.
