Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-op team at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The role involves caring for a sub-specialty patient group, coordinating with the healthcare team, and serving as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements include an RN license, BLS, ACLS if required by department, and 2 years of RN experience (1 year in pre-op preferred); an Associate degree is required with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• RN license is required.
• ACLS certification may be required by department.
• Nurse specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health team members.
