Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking a Pre-Op Registered Nurse to oversee pre-surgical patient care and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe, smooth transitions for patients. The role requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with BSN preferred and at least one year in acute care plus Pre-Op PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year minimum experience in acute care.
• Prior Pre Op PACU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the care of the pre surgical/procedural patient.
• Serve as the primary nurse leading collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Deliver care based on age-appropriate criteria across physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs.
• Float to other areas as needed and perform only competent duties.
