Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. You will contribute to an interdisciplinary environment and support compassionate patient care across the perioperative journey.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of perioperative experience; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire, CNOR preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring your OR Nurse specialized skills to serve specific age groups, which may include adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
• Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring there is adequate stock, and appropriate equipment available in areas as assigned.
• Assist with post procedure workload including cleaning room between procedures, putting away all unused supplies & setting up for the next procedure.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegates in accordance with the competency level of all staff members.
• Rotate to areas other than OR, and perform only those duties that you have demonstrated competency.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
