Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Pre-Operation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role provides patient care using the nursing process for a group of patients over a defined time frame.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timeframes and have experience with ventilator management, airway management, and critical care medications.

Qualifications

• ADN required and Texas RN license
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• ACLS required
• PALS within 90 days of hire
• Competence in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Thorough knowledge of airway management and rescue methods
• Pediatric/Adult Phase 1 and Phase 2
• Knowledge of ASPAN Standards

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides and directs patient care using the nursing process for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
