Job summary

Tyler Regional Hospital in Tyler, TX is seeking an evening shift, full-time Pre-Op RN to join our surgical services team. The RN will apply the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care for a defined group of patients.

Candidates should have ADN, Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma certifications, plus strong airway management knowledge; PACU/ICU/ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) required.
• Must maintain current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required (within 90 days of hire).
• Trauma Certification Course (TNCC, ATLS, TCAR) within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of airway management and rescue methods.
• Pediatric/Adult Phase 1 and Phase 2 knowledge.
• ASPAN standards knowledge.
