Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. in Prosper, TX seeks a dedicated Pre-op/Stepdown Nurse to deliver perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory surgical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure patient safety, comfort and continuity of care from pre-op through recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with active RN license.
• CPR and PALS certification required.
• Minimum one year in pre-op, intra-op and post-op surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision of nursing care in ambulatory surgical center setting.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure continuity of care with the healthcare team.
• Assess perioperative needs of patients across age groups and collaborate with physicians.
