Job summary

Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania in Camp Hill, PA, seeks an experienced Pre-Op / PACU RN to coordinate and provide care for adult and pediatric patients, following standards and procedures set by the center.

Requirements include a PA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of two years in a surgical setting; Monday–Friday day shift with no weekends or on-call, plus competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the surgical suite setting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; assess patient needs and plan pre/post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and provide pre-operative care, including education and family support.
• Coordinate pre-operative labs and document results.
• Provide post-operative care and stabilization and discharge education.
• Safely discharge patients and ensure understanding of post-care.
