Job summary

Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center - St. Charles is seeking a Preop Recovery Nurse PRN to assist with patient care in a surgical center setting. The role requires a state RN license, CPR, ACLS, and at least two years of experience in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.

The position offers hourly pay of $35 to $53 based on skill and experience, and the facility provides standard benefits. Evening and weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN License.
• CPR required.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum two years in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative surgical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.
• Contacts patients as well as physicians' offices to discuss and obtain items necessary to complete preoperative and postoperative checklists.
