University Surgery Center in California is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care from the pre-op phase through PACU recovery, including monitoring and safety assurance.
The role requires CA RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and PACU or critical care experience; BSN preferred. Competitive benefits and supportive team environment offered.
The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Rate range: $36.22 to $45.28 per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of CA. Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a circulator required. BSN preferred.
