Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pre/Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This full-time day shift position (40 hours/week) focuses on leadership, coordination, and delivery of high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

The successful candidate will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, communicate with patients and team, and support care goals. BSN is preferred, with Michigan RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to plan care.
• Ability to perform professional nursing services and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and teaching.
