Job summary

Trinity Health's Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Pre-op/PACU department. This full-time role supports patients before and after surgery in a high-volume operating suite, with day shifts starting between 7am and 9am.

The RN provides patient-centered care, adheres to the nursing process, collaborates with the OR team, and participates in ongoing education. Requires active Michigan license; BSN within five years preferred; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License required.
• ICU and/or Prep/PACU experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• BSN degree required within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care before and after surgery in Pre-op/PACU.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process with age-appropriate considerations.
• Collaborate with operating room teams to support high-volume surgeries.
• Maintain on-call readiness within 45 minutes of the hospital.
