Olympia Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Operative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit at our Olympia or Centralia centers. This full-time role involves managing preoperative care and PACU monitoring, with on-site responsibilities and a rotating schedule that may include Saturdays.

NA minimum: Washington RN license, IV therapy experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification within 90 days of hire. Competitive benefits are offered with 1.0 FTE status.

Competenze

• IV therapy experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited State Board of Nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse in the State of Washington required.
• Ability to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Pre-Operative: administering care to patients prior to surgery.
• Administer pre-surgery medications under physician guidance.
• Evaluate admission documents and pre-operation policies.
• PACU: monitor heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate.
• Manage postoperative nausea, pain, and shivering; monitor surgical sites.
