Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse with a strong peri-operative background to join the pre-operative team. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities include thorough pre-op assessments, patient history review, and coordinating with OR staff to ensure smooth transfers. Ideal candidates have ACLS/PALS certification, excellent communication and computer skills, and knowledge of anesthesia and medications.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with a strong peri-operative background.
• ACLS/PALS certification required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.
• Knowledge of anesthesia and medications and their side effects is preferred.
• Experience in surgical services is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Review patient history and pre-operative chart.
• Complete patient physical assessment pre-operatively.
• Complete intra-department transfer sheet and assessment flow chart.
• Communicate with operating room staff regarding patient transfer.
• Conduct verbal or written hand-off communication with OR staff.
