Requirements include RN licensure, ACLS/PALS certification, knowledge of peri-operative procedures, and excellent communication and computer skills to support the OR team.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with a strong background in peri-operative surgical services.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures offered at Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services.
• Knowledge of anesthesia, medications and side effects.
• Excellent computer skills and communication.
• ACLS/PALS certification.
• Excellent physical assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review of patient history and pre-operative chart.
• Completion of patient physical assessment.
• Completion of intra departmental transfer sheet and assessment flow chart.
• Communication with O.R. staff regarding patient transfer.
• Conducts verbal or written hand off communication with O.R. staff.
