Based in our Chattanooga or Knoxville office, you will negotiate with insurers, review medical and police records, and coordinate with clients and providers to maximize recovery. The role offers a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and in good standing.
• 1–3+ years of experience in personal injury law preferred (pre-litigation focus).
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Compassionate and client-focused attitude with ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Proficiency with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Needles, Litify) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury claims.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and guidance.
• Review police reports, medical records, and other documentation to evaluate case value.
• Draft demand letters and other legal correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to ensure fair compensation.
• Coordinate with medical providers regarding client treatment and billing.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation in the case management system.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently.
• Prepare cases for litigation if settlement is not achieved.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
