Wettermark Keith is seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney for our Chattanooga or Knoxville office. This in-person role handles a high-volume pre-litigation caseload, from intake to settlement, with clients, medical providers, and insurers.

You will draft demand letters, negotiate settlements, and prepare cases for litigation when needed. The ideal candidate holds a J.D., is licensed in Tennessee, and has 1–3+ years in personal injury law with strong negotiation and

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• 1-3+ years of experience in personal injury law (pre-litigation preferred).
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Compassionate and client-focused attitude.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Proficiency with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Needles, Litify) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury claims.
• Communicate regularly with clients for case updates and guidance.
• Review police reports, medical records, and other documentation to evaluate case value.
• Draft demand letters and other legal correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to ensure fair compensation.
• Coordinate with medical providers regarding client treatment and billing.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation in the case management system.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently.
• Prepare cases for litigation if settlement is not achieved.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
