You will represent workers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage/hour matters with a strategic, client-centered approach.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and ability to manage a robust caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• 2–7 years of attorney experience in employment law.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law (FEHA, CFRA, FMLA, wage and hour).
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to manage a robust caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through pre-litigation from intake to settlement.
• Review case files to identify issues and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients on case updates and settlement offers.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Review demand letters, settlement agreements, and other documents for accuracy.
• Implement QA measures to improve pre-litigation processes.
• Potentially supervise legal staff on pre-litigation matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
