The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker with 3–7 years of experience in employment or related civil litigation, and a solid command of California labor and wage-hour laws.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar in good standing.
• 3–7 years of experience in employment litigation or related civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law (FEHA, CFRA, FMLA, wage and hour).
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to manage a robust caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and motion practice.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, depositions, and arbitrations, advocating effectively at each stage.
• Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with other attorneys and support staff.
