Job summary

The Law Collective Limited in Los Angeles is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to oversee the negotiation phase from opening the claim to settlement, without trial. You will supervise the Case Manager team and negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure the best outcomes for clients.

Candidates must have a JD and active license, about 3 years of litigation or pre-litigation experience in personal injury, and proven leadership. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD required with active license to practice law.
• About 3 years of experience in litigation or pre-litigation (personal injury).
• Experience negotiating with insurance carriers/adjusters.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and supervise Case Managers.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee caseload in pre-litigation with Case Managers.
• Review and approve Case Managers' demand letters, medical records, and liability documents.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters/attorneys to secure favorable settlements.
• Assess the liability, injuries, and insurance coverage of each case.
• Escalate to litigation when appropriate.
• Meet with clients to resolve complex matters.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to the Case Manager team.
