Job summary

Fernbrook Family Center is seeking a Clinical Trainee to provide diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and skills‑based interventions for children, adults, and families. Working under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional, Clinical Trainees support clients to improve daily functioning and participate in clinical supervision to meet licensure requirements.

This role offers a flexible schedule with full and part‑time hours, travel between client sessions, and a sign on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or current enrollment in a qualifying graduate program.
• Working toward licensure as LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (for community-based roles).
• Must pass a criminal background check per DHS and agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and/or skills services to clients and families.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine service eligibility.
• Meet productivity benchmarks and weekly billable expectations.
• Complete documentation in accordance with agency standards.
• Coordinate care with Fernbrook staff and external providers.
• Seek supervision and consultation as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision.
• Complete required trainings and maintain professional development.
• Fulfill clinical supervision requirements per licensure plan.
• Complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years (or as required).
• Uphold Fernbrook Family Center’s mission and policies.
• Travel between client sessions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
