Position: Daycare Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Responsibilities
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth
Desired skills and experience:
Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
Previous teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
College Bachelors Degree in education preferred
Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
