Duties: Per Attached Job Description
Job Duties and Requirements:

  • Provide instruction in an inclusive environment based on best instructional practice that incorporates effective teaching strategies and differentiation
  • Work collaboratively in the transition of students from Birth to Three to the Pre-K Program
  • Participate in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process by attending PPT meetings, working collaboratively with IEP team members, preparing IEP documents, and delivering instruction that enables students to progress toward IEP goals.
  • Plan and conduct assessments; record, analyze, and interpret data to monitor student progress and plan instruction.
  • Maintain an established system of communication with parents.
  • Collaborate and consult with related service personnel.
  • Demonstrate behavior that reflects established professional responsibilities and adherence to Board of Education policies.

Salary: Per Shelton Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement 2025 - 2026 Salary Schedule
