Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• Arkansas teaching license required.
• Experience in PBIS or Conscious Discipline is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide an instructional program to meet the needs of all students.
• Create a classroom environment that involves students in the learning process and helps each student achieve objectives.
• Prepare for class and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals.
• Establish objectives aligned with Arkansas standards and development.
• Adhere to pacing guides to maximize learning.
• Plan and use instructional methods, resources and evaluation techniques to motivate students.
• Take safety precautions to protect students and property.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Set clear classroom rules and maintain order fairly.
• Be available to students/parents outside instructional time when required.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and community with respect for all.
• Participate with administrator in evaluation processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
