Job summary

Learning Care Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher to plan, assess, and instruct based on each child’s needs and program requirements. You will create engaging learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, manage the classroom, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines while fostering relationships with families.

Must be 18+, hold a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field, and be able to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and program requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
